Chef Buz's Afgooey Chocolate Chip Weed Cookies
Yield: 24 cookies
Total Time: 25-30 minutes
Ingredients
1 1/4 Cups of All Purpose Flour
1/2 teaspoon of Salt
1/2 teaspoon of Baking Soda
3/4 Cup of Sugar * substitute infused cannabis sugar for extra potency
1/2 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
1/2 Cup Cannabutter, room temperature
1 Cup Chocolate Chips, a heaping cup full
1 Large Egg
*Substitute Canna Coconut Oil for butter for a healthier alternative
Instructions on How to Make Weed Cookies
First, preheat the oven to 375 degrees F and line to baking sheets with either silicone baking sheets or parchment paper and set aside.
In a medium bowl, mix the dry ingredients, except for the sugar, together. The flour, salt, and baking soda should be well combined, now in a separate mixing bowl add the cannabutter and sugar and whisk until it becomes creamy and fluffy about 3 minutes.
Now add the egg and vanilla extract to the creamed butter and mix well. Slowly add the dry ingredients to the cannabutter mix and combine them. Continue mixing until all the ingredients are added and the dough is formed. Now is the time to add the chocolate chips and fold them into the cookie dough.
Using a Tablespoon, make evenly sized dough balls and place them on the lined baking sheets, spacing them about 2" apart from each other. Bake in the oven for about 7-9 minutes, depending on your oven and the size of your dough balls. just a light brown on the cookies and then remove them from the oven and let them cool for a couple of minutes before moving the chocolate chip weed cookies to a cooling rack.
