Blazing Mango Sorbet

Preparation Time: 2 hours hours 15minutes minutes


Ingredients:


  • 3 ripe mangoes, peeled and diced

  • 1 cup water

  • 1/2 cup sugar

  • 1 tablespoon lime juice

  • 1 teaspoon chili powder (adjust to taste)

  • 2-3 teaspoons cannabis-infused coconut oil (adjust dosage as needed)

  • A pinch of salt

  • Optional: fresh mint leaves for garnish


Instructions:


First, let’s make the simple syrup, in a small saucepan, combine water and sugar. Heat over medium heat, stirring until the sugar is completely dissolved. Remove from heat and let it cool. Next, in a blender, add the diced mangoes, lime juice, chili powder, a pinch of salt, and the cooled simple syrup. Blend until smooth. Now just gradually add the cannabis-infused coconut oil to the mango mixture. Blend again to ensure it’s well incorporated. Pour the mixture into a bowl and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or until thoroughly chilled. 


Once the mixture is chilled, pour it into an ice cream maker and churn according to the manufacturer’s instructions until it reaches a smooth, sorbet-like consistency. Now you just need to transfer the sorbet to a container and freeze for an additional 2-4 hours to firm up. Serve in chilled bowls, garnished with fresh mint leaves if desired.
